AI Could Impact 300M Jobs
Goldman Sachs predicts that as many as 300 million jobs could be affected by generative AI, with two-thirds of US jobs being exposed to automation by AI. Of those positions affected, as much as 50% of their workload could be replaced. However, the impact of AI on the labor market is likely to be significant, but most jobs and industries are only partially exposed to automation and are more likely to be complemented rather than substituted by AI. Goldman estimates that 7% of US jobs could be replaced by AI, with 63% being complemented by AI, and 30% being unaffected by it. Jobs with the lowest exposure to AI include cleaning and maintenance, installation and repair, and construction jobs. 🧰 AI Tools of the week
