Adobe Flexes with next-gen AI photo editing toolsAdobe felt the pressure from Canva, which gave us some amazing image editing features a few weeks ago and recently previewed Project Stardust, a next-generation AI-powered photo editing tool, at its MAX conference.  Powered by Firefly Model 2, Stardust lets users easily remove objects and people, change backgrounds, and creatively edit images with AI assistance. It combines object recognition, generative fill, and other AI models to enable quick and intuitive edits. While similar to Google's Magic Editor, Stardust demonstrates Adobe's progress in developing advanced AI photo editing that makes complex edits seem easy. Though still a sneak preview, Stardust provides a glimpse of how AI could transform photo editing in the future. Additionally, Adobe introduced the "icon of transparency" to authenticate digital images, combat misinformation, and avoid copyright issues.
