As of now, anyone can take a picture of you or anyone with a mobile device, upload the image to one of these apps, and undress you, This image can be shared on certain sites for the world to see. In September alone, these services saw 24 million visits, with a significant increase in social media marketing. This trend, part of the broader issue of deepfake pornography, raises concerns about privacy violations and harassment, as these images are often created without the subject's consent. While there's no federal law against creating deepfake pornography of adults in the U.S., the lack of legal protection leaves many victims vulnerable and highlights the darker side of AI advancements.
